19:50~19:55 Questions
19:55~ Discussions in groups
PS: Below is a brief introduction of the topic from them:
Topic 1: Search the neural circuits underlie the behavior (From Wang Fei)
Understanding how different neuronal components are orchestrated to realize various functions is one of the important missions in neuroscience. Taking advantage of sophisticate techniques that enable the precise labeling, monitoring or manipulation of cell assemblies, some circuits have been identified to be critical for certain behaviors, such as aggression, learning and memory. In the coming Journal Club, I will introduce some recent work from several distinguished groups (David Anderson, Andreas Lüthi et al.). Also, I would like to share my opinions on circuit dissection with you. Hope to see you there.
Topic 2: Super-resolution fluorescence microscopy (From Cheng Qi)
Hi guys, in this coming Journal Club I will share with you some resent advancements in the super-resolution fluorescence microscopy, including the basic principles, the applications and the remaining shortages to be overcome for their broader use in biology. The attachment is a related review written by xiaoweizhuang about the super-resolution fluorescence microscopy.
Please join us if you are interesting in these topics!
Welcome to Attend & Enjoy the Presentation, Discussion & Fresh Fruits ~
We look forward to seeing you!
